Nintendo isn't going anywhere for a long time. Their "blue ocean" strategy ensured that they will have a huge userbase that will keep them riding high into the next generation, where by then, the Wii's successor will benefit by having all the Wii's features and will be just as powerful as the PS360 are now since the hardware will be much cheaper to manufacture, thus making the console more affordable.
If Nintendo wasn't doing the right thing, then neither Sony nor Microsoft would be shifting their focus to motion control technologies and more casual-friendly software starting next year.
