Next to PC, they all are toys. And isn't that what consoles are supposed to be in the first place? Toys?

Personally, I dislike consoles that tries to be something else than what it should be.

I just saw the video, i do agree with one thing they said, that PSN is on par with XBL, i think its because the fact that PSN is free its is above average that gives PSN its on par edge.

wii sales have been down harshly in comparsion to its own sales last year but the wii is still selling at an amazing pace, you can't say hotcakes anymore but you can say warm cakes and those warm cakes are selling more than ps3 and 360 combined and it is basically outsells the 360 2:1 ..... and it is selling 250k every month and with NSMBWii WiiFit Plus and all the other great third party games coming out in 2009 (lazy to check which ones are coming in 09 rather than 2010 cause lot of the games this year have been delayed) so yeah i was saying the with NSMBWii and WiiFit Plus and all the great third party games Nintendo is gonna have the best holiday sales in the history of Wii...

They're going to be in for a rude awakening when the price-cuts don't change the pecking order.

They really seem to forget that consoles have always been, and will always will be toys. Even the almighty Super Nintendo was considered a very elaborate and expensive toy. The "HARDCORE"'s definition of how consoles are supposed to be is F*ked up.

Okay, i just watched the offending section, and damned are those guys deluded. I mean, they threw out every lie, half-truth, and misconception out there, all the while propagating the Wii is doomed train.

And the GT commentators cheered them on.

yeah every console is a toy especially if you compare it to a 2000 dollar computer here in canada..

also wii is meant to be a gaming console and thats what it does and i have a computer so i don't a computer in my gaming console
