That, and TNA was at least trying to add a small layer of realism and give you a slight suspension of disbelief, as opposed to trying to turn backstage segments into a cartoon show, where it's made to look like the performers are animatronics that shut on and off based on when they're on camera.

The more I hear about TNA in this thread, the more I want to watch it again, suddenly. I enjoy TNA the most when it stops trying to be WCW/WWE-lite and just does its own thing.

I have nothing against backstage skits. I just didn't like the way TNA did them. I actually prefer the old style backstage promos before matches. But those days are over

Yeah, Kong came back and confronted Havoc.  Not sure how that's going to work as a match, though.  I don't really have a lot of faith in the Knockouts division anymore, to be honest.  Yes, Gail vs. Taryn was excellent but they keep trying to base the division around Velvet and Madison, neither of whom is very good.  Velvet is hot but she should be a manager.

You're right, especially about Sarita.  They dropped the ball so damn hard with her.  She's incredibly hot AND she's great in the ring, yet they focused more on Rosita?  What the hell were they thinking?

If TNA wants to have a worthwhile Knockouts division, they need to develop a talent exchange with one of the Japanese or Mexican promotions.  I'd pay money to see Gail Kim against Io Shirai or Arisa Nakajima.  Maybe even a Shimmer crossover.  Why they didn't sign Mia Yim, I have no clue.

It's from a PWG match where ACH found his inner Stone Cold against Kenny Omega.  The whole match had a lot more crazy stuff, actually, including Street Fighter and Dragonball Z references.  It was so much fun and very refreshing.

Also, any highlights from Roman Reigns matches would just be a lot of Ambrose and Rollins.

Yeah, TNA has been about a billion times better than the WWE recently. If Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble I might just stop watching WWE all together. Hopefully those rumors that Rusev will win because Reigns is not ready are true. It was leaked that Cena might be the champion for Wrestlemania yet again so maybe...
