What sucks is it seems that Daniel Bryan was "released".

On WWE News, WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.
from the wrestling observer:
Prior to his release, Bryan Danielson was well-liked by the WWE locker room and got the stamp of approval from several veterans.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that someone "very important" complained to WWE officials about Danielson choking Justin Roberts with his tie. The person who complained said that kids who were watching may think it's fun to choke people with their ties. Yep, you read that right. Whoever complained must have been someone with a lot of power within the company or TV network and they must have been pretty pissed.
For what it's worth, WWE seems open to having Danielson return after the whole thing blows over.
If this is true, Dixie Carter better be dropping some cash because despite me not being a fan, Danielson ios a good wrestler.

Who.... are kids going to choke with a tie? I mean... where do kids come across people they can choke with ties.
Also, wouldn't this have all been scripted out beforehand?
I think he really got let go, but I don't think it could of been for that.
The PG rating is really getting on my nerves now. Stopping to matches to clean blood and now releasing a guy who probably had more talent in his finger than the entire current roster over choking someone with a tie. Yea, that's beyond PG standards, but apparently choking someone with a handcuff isn't, coughCenacough.

Did I mention someone nearly getting run over by a car recently?

It's funny that they are going in the opposite direction they were going in the mid to late nineties with this PG stuff. I remember honestly tiring of the oops boob moments they were pushing on audiences at the time. I think I stopped watching for the most part for this, and the intentional swearing, and when it seemed like no match ended with an actual clean pinfall. Look, I like a woman's body as much as the next guy, but there are better places (PORN) than a WWF broadcast to showcase this stuff. The tie thing I agree with; it was overblown. However, I do think the stuff that they were pushing that I mentioned was inapropriate for kids.
Didn't Cena choke Umaga out with a ring rope a year or two ago? WTF? Also, any kid who wears a tie is a little to prissy to want to choke somebody. It's those kids without ties that I worry about!!
I think WWE just wanted a reason to get rid of Bryan Danielson to purposely piss people off. More specifically the internet smarks, a group of people Vince enjoys toying with and pissing off.
