IF you really like AC4, then yes. It improves on the game in nearly every aspect. Online co-op is also very cool.

I haven't played an armored core game since the ps2 iterations (ac2:aa,ac3,ac:nexus, etc). I did try the demo for ac4 and wasn't impressed, and I've been meaning to buy for answer but maybe I'll look for a cheap copy of 4 now that you said it's pretty decent.

And yeah, apparantly it has real online co-op.

I'm a big fan, AC is very badass. I use dual rifles (forgot the name) and a plasma weapon on the back for PA reduction, along with a laser weapon when PA reduction isn't an option..

I'm new to the Armored Core series so this is my first game from it however I'm having a blast.

Personally, I'd say the best AC is the PS1 Master of Arena one. Tough as fuck.
