Forums - Nintendo - Will Dead Space Extraction / Dark Side Chronicles have curse filter option?

Both of these games look really interesting to me, but I just cannot buy them if they are flooded with harsh language.  I know that Gears of War had an option to turn the cursing off and I was just wandering if anyone had heard of something similar being available for either of these two.  I wish more developers would consider this option, so that people like myself could enjoy a game without listening to F bombs being dropped.  Didn't Call of Duty have this option as well?

I highly doubt these two titles will have anything beyond the odd 'shit' so I wouldn't worry too much.

I hope there's a filter too; I fucking hate expletives.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

So graphic violence is ok, but graphic language is offensive? I never understood how someone can think simple, crude words are so harmful.

Do not worry, RE:DC and DSE will have just mild language so you can blast to a thousand gory pieces the head of your enemies without hurting your ears.

Oh and by the way kazadoom, I'd suggest you take a look at Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, that game looks even more fun these these two do.

I hope that this is an option as well. Bodies being blowing apart and limbs flyings in many directions makes me tingle from excitement, but offensive language is intolerable.

I wouldn't expect Dark Side Chronicles to have any noteworthy cursing to begin with, actually.

Tell that to sega when they were making overkill
