i have to agree.. if your on a games site.. you looking at sales every week.... you have money.. you KNOW sony has games you want the price is a much better value for you money know that its the same price as your 360. then blu-ray if you have HD TV, wi fi free online etc then theres just no excuse... hey ima sony fan but i would not be caught dead without my Wii or 360.. (to a lesser extent my psp and DS also) because above all i love games...

But to play devils ad... mab some people just dont love games as much as you and I do?

i would just almost start to cry (not really but you get the point) knowing i cant play uncharted 2, MGS4, Rachet, Socom, Killzone2.. or mario , zelda, metriod... or halo, Gears, and mass effect.... if i didnt own all the systems..so people are different there are a lot of people who can go missing a lot of AAA games it seems you and I are not one of them tho...

I am glad the only complaint is that the slim is "ugly". You can't argue with a person's opinion (whether they truly believe it or not). I think that Sony has offered a great product at a price point they have yet to market to. They are going to move a lot of consoles this quarter.

I think everyone else on other sides of these issues has been fairly tolerant. Giving certain people a lot of free reign. Everyone has a right to rant or rave from time to time be it positive or negative ranting. However in the jubilation some are forgetting the time tested truth payback is a real bitch. I have been here when the bitch came knocking at your doors, and you bawled like children having their candy stolen. Something to be mindful or before you go to far, and get shut down.

Like I said nothing wrong with a little levity, but your all spending on credit. Everyone that you go out of your way to piss off, and taunt now is going to give it back to you with interest later. Every nasty thread is ammunition they are going to fire right back at you. Personally I try to stay clear, and about these things. However I also know that trench fighters like to dish it out, but they sure as hell can't take it.

When I said "will not buy a ps3 no matter what Sony does", it's true.

You won't buy it if it was 200$, or 100$. You wouldn't buy it if it had halo, or gears. You wouldn't buy it if it had motion control, and you wouldn't buy it if it had a TB harddrive.

300$ for this system is an amazing deal. What's even more amazing, is that you will be able to pick up a used system for sub 250$. None of this matters though, because you will never buy it anyway. Not even if it was free after a rebate.

Yes, they show a fanboy detector.... the sony fanboy detector... look @ how many came out are of their caves. They were waiting for this since this gen started. A light of hope, that's what sony gave. All the Sony fanboys were screaming victory yesterday. Creating multiple threads about how awesome Ps3 is now, and how is gonna crush everything.

I know i know, is stupid to think that people are not getting the ps3 just b/c they are fanboys. Do you think a re-design changes everything? Are you..... kind of dumb? People get Console to play GAMES. If they would've show games that appeal to those who don't want a ps3 right now, maybe they would've change their mind. They just showed a re-design, get over it. they didn't just show a redesign. They showed a complete rebranding and a 25% discount. The games lineup is there. Just a word of advice. Think about Japan, where the console is well into the affordable range, and FF13 is exclusive...to quote cnn "just sayin'"

you're right, payback is going to be a bitch. And not for Sony fans. pstriple has already outsold the 360 in the same amount of time with nearly double the price this entire gen.

But that really has no relevance to this argument. There are a lot of people who want a ps3 but haven't been able to afford it. Now they can. Xbox has nothing to do with that. If I want to go out and buy a specific movie, I'm not going to buy a different one instead just because it's cheaper.
