they didn't just show a redesign. They showed a complete rebranding and a 25% discount. The games lineup is there. Just a word of advice. Think about Japan, where the console is well into the affordable range, and FF13 is exclusive...to quote cnn "just sayin'"

you're right, payback is going to be a bitch. And not for Sony fans. pstriple has already outsold the 360 in the same amount of time with nearly double the price this entire gen.
