I for one will stick by my prediction however wrong it may end up being (though amazingly enough, it could turn out alright seeing what we heard from Japan and US, though Others remains the complete unknown).

@Darth - I think you were gone for a while (summer vaction I would guess) but you are certainly back with a vengeance and creating threads galore! I like it, VGC wasn't about sales enough anymore. The price cuts and the slim and you Darth, have brought the passion back!!

Just read ioi's post in the thread posted by Darth about the possible 100k+ week 1 for PS3 in Japan et he says 50k is more likely (though he opens the door for a bigger week potentially).

Japan 1st week --- 66k
Others 1st week --- 92k
America 1st week --- 76k
Totals --- 234k

I can't remember if have already posted there, but for the next week (first official Slim week) i would say: America 80k, others 110k, Japan 60k.

America: 400k
Japan: 300k
Other: 700k
Total: 1.4mil PS3 sold by end of the week.

America: 100k
Others: 90k
Japan: 70k

Finally we see the true power of the Slim at $299 for next weeks numbers, keep the predictions up people :)
