umm lower than last year's actually, and i found it low since the comments were mostly negative... but what matters are sales so how this will trend we shall see
Sorry but in my honest opinion, coming from a Sporting game fan, this right here just made me dislike the game already and honestly think IGN is being very generous with the game's score.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

This review reads like it should have scored a lot lower.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Yeah, I agree, it definitely reads like it deserves about a 7.2. Well if IGN actually used averages it would've gotten a 7.6. Put it this way, this is yet another step backward for the Madden Wii franchise and a huge letdown for any football simulation fan. I still haven't bought a Madden for my Wii. It's just not worth the time. I don't want a PS2 game with motion controls and an updated roster. I mean Madden 10 Wii hardly has a career mode. EA if you aren't going to do a true football sim on the Wii, don't even develop for it.
Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

Well, I mean, traditional "gamers" aren't going to like the cartoony style. They probably prefer the game to be as realistic as possible, as to the "casuals" who don't really care about graphics.

I can't stand those cartoon graphics. It is not necessary.
That will probably be the BS remark that EA comes up with. Casuals don't play football games, why market a game towards them? The only reason Madden sold "somewhat" before was because hardcore players thought it was going to be a step forward. Now since this game is a LEAP backward, it won't sell on Wii.
Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

Always drives me up a wall when they make the overall greater than any of the components. I'm not a big proponent of the "greater than the sum of its parts" theory.
