Tanks is worth $10 all by itself. Everything else is just a bonus.

Well a lot of the games I feel are poorly implemented or just simply throwaway titles altogether, but there is definitely enough content to warrant $10. I do agree there are much better ways to spend $10 on the VC though, but I feel a good majority of the expanded audience might differ in opinion.

You have to understand also, it benefits from the times people couldn't find standalone Wiimotes on the market. When Wii Play first came out, the Wiimote was ridiculously difficult to find and Nintendo packaged most of their stock in with Wii Play, making it your only option. I can imagine there's more than one person here that has been forced to purchase Wii Play more than once just to get a third or fourth controller for their Wii.

Yeah i also think the controller is way overpriced should be $20. I would prefer another $10 game.

I love the shooting game, pool and tanks. I would pay 10$ for each one of those games.

I ones had a girl visiting me. I suggested we play a little bit with my Wii. I started with WiiPlay, because I thought it is an easy way to learn the Wii controls. Than I wanted to go over to other games, however she insisted, that we play the shooting game on WiiPlay more ...
When we started I was the better player. (I let her win a few games of shooting to encourage her.) However after some time she was on the same level like me. She beat me half the time and this time I tried to win.
I still wished, she would have tried out the other games too ...

You can get the Wii Remote alone and spend the $10 however you please!

And no, its not overpriced. I think its perfect at that price

when both the PS3 slim and 360 Elite retail for $299, their will only be a $50 between them and the Wii which currently retails for $249...so yeah the wii will definitely look over priced, considering that for 50 bucks more, you get better graphics, better online, and way more features out of the box than the wii, and in most people mind 50 bucks jump is nothing compared to the extras you'll be getting.

Nintendo better drop the price soon in order to stay competitive, and at least have a bigger price advantage, I say soon because both the Elite and PS3 Slim are rumoured to be hitting the $299 end of this month.

Also, I do seriously think the a majority of VC games are way over prices, Sonic the hedgehog should be 4 bucks Australian, not $8, I mean I can get PS1 games on my PS3 for 10 bucks, and they are bigger games, so charging 8 bucks for sega mega drive, and SNES is just a massive rip off.
