You cant blame me for asking that :D

"Oh yeah, he does love the ebay doesn't he? I can't wait until I get a Wii. I want a Wii. I want a Wii. I want a Wii. Now I don't have to defend sony anymore. but I still want a PS3"

^^^^ don't know how that could question logic. The ebay thing was my convo w/my cuz W29 about my bro. Then the "I want a wii thing was a joke but it is hard to defend sony on these forums.

You guys seriously need to chill out. The post really wasn't that serious and DMeisterJ she was joking with you. You need to chill out. Go make a list of Wii games you want for the Wii when you get it. Thats what I'm doing right now. I have approximately 15 games now that I want and I'm not finished.

Wait, what is so great about that? What would be great is if you could enjoy all three systems in the second year of the generation for under $600 like last time. This generation costs over twice as much. That prices many gamers out of owning all 3 consoles either because they can't afford it or as in my case just refuse to spend that much money on video games.

I didn't mention price.

My point was about choice, nothing more.  If you don't feel the PS3 is worth $500-$600, you can choose not to buy it.

If you want to argue that we'd be better off with one console, that would be a possible argument to my point.

If you want to argue about price, you're building a strawman against my point.  Totally irrelevant.

Can't do that yet cuz I'm in class but I'm going to do that when I get home. Are your fifteen exclusives or multi-platforms?

Wow, usually people have trouble understanding what other people wrote not what they themselves wrote. Let's take a look at what you said, "That's the great part about it. If you have the $$$, you can enjoy the games from them all. " Let's start with price, so what does "if you have the $$$" mean? It means if you have the money that you can afford paying the PRICE for all three consoles. What was your point? "That's the great part", what part? "if you have the $$$, you can enjoy the games from them all". That is if you can afford the PRICE of all three you can enjoy all the games that are made which is great. Your may have intended your main point to be about choice and not money but the way your post is written gives little indication of that. Now my response, "What's so great about it?" followed by reasons that the high prices of the PS360 is preventing people from getting all three consoles this time around due to all the $$$ you have to have to enjoy all three. As for choice, of course it is great. However, as you first post showed you understand, price is a major limiter of choice. Otherwise I would be deciding whether I want a Bentley or an Aston-Martin and not choosing between used Hondas. I am not debating and no where did I even hint that owning one console is better than owning all three so I'm not sure from where that came. My point, as obviously stated at the very start of my post was simply, "What's so great about it?" (it being the requirement that people to shell out a lot of money, due to their high price, to enjoy all three consoles instead of them being affordable, due to their low price, like last gen). Come on, I expect better from someone with "words of wisdom" as his ID.

Exclusives MAN!!!!! what do you think I am getting multiplatform games.

@DMeisterJ

Well right on. I think you'll enjoy the Wii. Definitely still get the PS3 as well, if you can, of course. To me the decision this generation was to get a Wii for sure, and then decide between PS3 and Xbox 360 as my second console. I think a combination of a Wii and either of the other two systems gives the best gaming experience. If you are able to get two systems that is. The Wii is unique enough that I just would not want to miss out on it. But I would not want to miss out on the power of the other two either.

Though I guess all three would be the ideal of course. But I just won't have the money for all three for a while yet. Or the time to play all the games from all three.

Gotta be exclusives.

Also, I hope you enjoy the Wii. Just...buy it NOW or you won't get it until March.
