Why do you want a one world government?

Because we want variety. Some want capitalism, some want socialism, ect. We should have variety, and the people can go to the country they feel matches their values.

All I know is, we're already heading towards a one world government, and it ain't gonna be good. I'm all for world peace, but a one world government headed by money hungry corporations and congress members isn't the kind of so called peace i'm looking for.

Only if we have to face an alien threat, like in Ender's Game.

It's possible, but it probably won't be in the way that is depicted on Star Trek, probably more of a NWO one world government that is run by greed and corruption.
