Well i have been reading a lot of angry blog entries and getting opinions about obama's socialist ways... What does Vg Chartz think. Is Obama a Socialist. Is he leading the USA into communism. I will leave some quotes from some article i read. 


"Socialism, according to Karl Marx, is the transition between capitalism and communism. To achieve communism, Marx says, there must be continuing revolution in which the fundamental principal is: The End Justifies the Me."


"Obama has declared that he believes every person has a "right" to health care. The Socialist Party USA believes every person has a "right" to health care.

 

 

Obama believes that labor unions should be allowed to organize without a secret ballot. The Socialist Party USA calls for unions to be recognized without a secret ballot

 

 

The Socialist Party USA calls for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. Obama says, "I will end this war," with never a reference to "winning" or "victory."

The Socialist Party USA calls for the "unconditional disarmament" by the United States. Obama has promised to dramatically reduce defense spending. Listen to his words here.

The Socialist Party USA calls for a "livable guaranteed annual income." Obama trained ACORN members to conduct "Living Wage" campaigns in cities around the country.

Capitalism seeks prosperity; socialism seeks equity. Freedom increases as prosperity increases. In a socialist system, there can be neither."

 

 

So what does VG think about this. Is he a socialist... Do you Care?

I guess i'm in the "i don't care" list. The last 8 years of capitalism have left me so disillusioned that i'm willing to try anything. I don't hold the arrogance that some people cling to bitterly. If something new can potentially help the country, i'm all for it.

Plus i'm liberal on social issues so i guess i'm more accepting of new things.

He has socialist tendencies and ideas and many of his programs are more socialist than capitalist in nature.

I would call him a mild Fascist Social Interventionist

Well these are direct from dicitionary.com. Looks like Karl Marx's definition got in there to...
