Forums - Sales - Tony Hawk Ride, why bother with the Wii version?

All three versions, PS3, 360 and Wii, cost the same $119 and all three of them come with the same board. Yet the Wii graphics are well below the quality of the HD version. I just don't see the reason to buy the Wii version for the same price at all.

Same board?

.....How functionally different is it from the Balance Board?

...

I don't see why buy this game at all.

winner.

@khuutra
I'm sure they are incompatible. Activision likes to have it's own competing peripherals.

The board has quite a few more functionalities but it's only for this one game so far:

....That last part there makes me think they want to provide themselves an alternative to the Balance Board.

Activision has gone mad with power.

Is it even possible to play it with a normal controller ?
If not then it might be the first Tony Hawk game I'm not going to buy.

I'm passing on this purchase. Skateboarding went out a long time ago for me. lol
