Don't know if I like the gargoyles though. Kind of weird that they're just littered all over the walls and such.

I assume they'd become more rare as the game progresses. Bear in mind these were the first 30 minutes of a game which should be around 10 hours long. They're supposed to be easy, to let you in slowly, and then BAM, there it is.

VERY VERY EASY.

The graphics and animations were average, little better than watchmen the end in nigh.

Gameplay would be fun if were more challenging. I am disappointed. No boss fights on demo, so bosses could still be a good surprise..
I hope the actual game is more difficult with a very hard option.

But there is no way will achieve a 90+ metacritic like Eidos wants and hypes it will.

I think will even be below 80.

Lack of difficulty isn't really a bad thing. There should be some challenge, but bear in mind this is the first level, and it probably defaulted to Easy setting. Reviewers aren't going to give this below 80, but probably not above 90. And the graphics and animations were well above the average, have you only played Uncharted, MGS4, and Gears this gen? It doesn't come close to the kings, but it's around CoD4 level. Which is still very good. Also, THERE ARE NO GRAPHICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE VERSIONS! And that is just awesome.

I guess my problem is that I was doing the opposite of Batman. Fighting the thugs was so fun that I just wanted to take on all the gangsters gung-ho.

Man, this game really puts you in the dark knight's latex boots more than any other. I've played it so many times that, when there was one guy left, I just played with him for about fifteen minutes finding ways to gradually scare him more and more.

I started out darting around corners that he could juuust see, then I caped him in the face and dazed him before shooting to a gargoyle. Then I ran up and punched him from behind and retreated. Then he scared himself by shooting the boiler. Then I bataranged him in the head.

When he got up, he started firing randomly and shouted "What the heck are you?!?!" I could help but smirk giddily, and in my best Conroy voice, say "I'm Batman." before swooping in and delivering a Glide Kick to the face.

By the way, anyone else notice the audio recordings of interviews with the Joker in his character biography?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

My friend told me he heard that the demo of this game is pretty good. So I just might download the demo tonight and play it.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

@ thekitchensink

I saw they were there, didn't listen to them though.

Who found the secret though? I did

@Rainbird

we talking about the Riddler character bio thing or is there another secret I missed?

...

@ Torillian

That's the one.

I downloaded the game on both the PS3 and the 360 and played both at the same time, just now. I had both consoles set at 720p using component cables and on different channels. Switching back and forth, I must admit that the PS3 version looks just a teensy weensy itty bitty bit better (you have to REALLY be looking for differences, though). The PS3 version "shimmered" less, and there were a couple effects that were done better on Sony's console.

The placement of the "Batarang" and "Spider-sense" (I don't know what else to call it) were in better position on the 360 version, though. I usually go 360 when it comes to multi-plats, but this time the PS3 version is the way to go.

With this playthrough, I was a real bastard! I wasn't afraid of the bad guys anymore. I was following them around, popping up from the floor, and really freaking them out. At this point, this game is my most anticipated game of the year!
