...cool?

Eh, I hope it's not just a straight port but whatever. I bought RE4 for the wii and it was a 2 year port.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

If it has splitscreen and decent online, I may actually buy it even though I already have it for 360. No Wii shooters have both of those things.

Better late than never, I suppose...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

If they want this to sell they better make it damned good.

After playing WaWii, I'm hoping for:

-At least 10 players

-Wii-Speak

-At least Half-Decent Weapon Balancing.

-A CTF Mode.

Why wii owners must have these test when the HD consoles never had one?

I lol'd

Even more because of Treyarch is doing the port. (Expected, but I guess they can at least port the game without making it inferior, like they did it with developing new entries for the CoD series)

Pretty poor to be honest.

jesus not even the PS3 gets ports that late.... fuck me dead it's even older than CoD:WaW....who wants to ride the Activision COD milking train, Wooo, wooo, chaga chaga chaga...

On a serious note, CoD:MW2 will cannibalise CoD:MW sales, but I guess we'll soon see how much buying power wii's 50 Million install base actually has.
In any case the HD twins have the new game made by IW, better visuals, and the most important part to a majority of people who buy this game is that they both have the superior online multiplayer offering that the wii simply can not match....I dare even say that the HD twins have the superior controls as well...but that's subjective so that is only my opinion.

At this stage, you've got to really own the Wii ONLY if you even consider this 2 year old port, but then again, these people are most likely not your typical core gamers which spend a majority of the games life in online matches....but I suppose if you only own a wii, then a 2 year old port is way better than nothing....so I guess a Kudos is in order?

It's not fair to judge the sale of a 2 year old port versus a brand new game. The ps2 never got this type treatment, sad.
