Also im sorry for your lose. 1 of my friends did the same thing. But, most of the people i know have only had 1 or no problems with their 360s but i guess everyone has different luck.

Yeah, one of my buddies box went out. However, he has had no issues since Microsoft fixed it. My elite has never had any issues as well.

I hate to be a cynic in this but seriously, how many people actually get red rings of death? Do they keep the system in a locked pillowcase? I play my system for 3-4 hours at a time and give it plenty of breaks, and it hasn't bite the big one on me yet.

My love for Microsoft must be Karma, been playing the 360 since 2006 and no problems whatsoever!

So you're saying the Xbox's failure rate is inversely proportionate to how big a MS fanboy the owner is... interesting!

Signature goes here!

I actually have 7 friends with zero problems on their 360's, so I don't know what this is like. But I can understand why it would be frustrating. I personally tried to give up on the 360 a few months back, and I just couldn't do it. Sorry to hear about your problems!

It must be all luck...I completely believe you - but 3 of my friends as well as myself (the only 4 people I know personally who own 360's) have all had to send their 360's in (one of them twice, the others just once as far as I know).  I honestly only play exclusives on it anymore because I'm afraid it will break (I had to pay out of pocket last time, as it wasn't RROD) - the last time it broke the first time I put Halo 3 in.  :(

Is this a joke comment? His 360 is out of warrenty and its had problems. Presumably you are aware that the xbox initally had a high faliure rate? Dont pretend it doesnt exist and go blaming him when its clear he loves/ed his 360.

i can understand your frustration, ive had numerous exchanges and actualy bought another xbox 360. if this one goes i would not buy another, but its going strong so far

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Another sad, frustrated customer, hell of a way to build brand loyalty for MS...it's only a small sample of the things to come, next year it'll only get worse as the majority of 360s with problems (over 8 millions of them) will drop out of the 3-year warranty and angry owners will be facing the tough choice between of having to buy a new one, buy an used one within warranty and keep suffering the death-cycle, or abandon ship altogether. It'll be quite a sight.
