Heh, reminds me of when I first found VGC, I was a member at NGW... the main selling point for me, to stay at NGW that is, was that VGC only updated it's numbers monthly (yes, monthly - and I remember when the community was complaining about moving to weekly sales), whilst NGW had instant numbers.

This may seem like a daft idea, but i thought id pitch it anyway.

How about, when you post up the numbers each week... dont post them each at a time, only post all of them at the same time.
Post them in a news article first, say... 10-15 minutes before they hit the usual spot on the site. And then get VGC users to digg the hell out of the article?

VGChartz needs a mascot btw. Not just any mascot- a sexy mascot. The controller isn't as catchy or as memorable as say an awesome looking Snake replica or some kind of Anime looking girl chewing her finger tip whilst looking up at you with puppy dog eyes.

Mascots sell systems-they could also sell websites
