Thank God it's a joke! I actually want Sony around next gen, and a $199 PS3 would be suicide. Plus it makes no since to jump to that level without selling at the $299 sweet spot first and for a great while.
Quick poll, how many of you 360 and Wii owners would have jumped at that price? Is that what it would take or would $299 be low enough?
I first thought that 199$ was the price point that Sony would put on the old stock to clear inventory for the slim...
