it's not like they don't have enough sales. Both the DS and Wii each well over 50 games that have sold over at least a million copies. So why no Player's Choice yet?

Because Nintendo doesn't care. They are raking in millions and people still buy their software at full price years after the games came out. 3rd parties are free to drop prices whenever they want, so players choice would only really matter for 1st party software. (obviously ignoring the free recognition that 3rd parties would get for making player's choice)

Simple. The games keep selling. Why sell a game for $30 if it still selling at full price? I mean look at New Super Mario Bros and the Mario Kart games on both consoles for example.

It's not about how many copies you sell or how many games you release. It's about how much money you're making from the game's current sales. Right now, Nintendo is satisfied with those sales. If they want the extra sales from a lower price-point then they'll go that route. For now though, they're fine.
I'm sure the player's choice line will come up within 2 years as older software like Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. stop selling.

Even though that's probably not their reason, it is true.
While they don't have Player's Choice, the price is dropping on some of their titles.
SMG is $40, not $50 for example.
