I'm assuming that Nintendo will still have a fall conference, since they seem to do it every year. I'm wondering, does anyone have any particular expectations for it? Naturally, we'll see new footage of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and probably also new footage of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M.

Seeing new games surface wouldn't be unprecedented - For example, Punch-Out!! was shown at this very event last year. Personally I'm hoping to death to see either Star Fox or F-Zero, or both, for Wii. Perhaps doubtful, but I'm keeping hope alive. Regardless, I'll probably be overjoyed just at the new trailers for already announced games.

I could even imagine a Zelda Wii trailer being shown, though most would probably think that's impossible. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but I would say it's improbable. Given how we already know about the game and everything, I think it wouldn't be impossible to see a trailer of it. Anyway, what do you guys hope to see?

I am starting to think that if we're going to see StarFox or F-Zero at all in this generation, then it would have to be unveiled at this conference. I would also hope to see dates for Spirit Tracks and NSMBWii, and a "confirmation" that Heart Gold and Soul Silver are getting localized.

Just because they showed games at E3 leaves no guarantee that they'll show them here. I remember that they completely neglected Wii Sports Resort at last year's, despite revealing it at last year's E3. I'll bet they give the same treatment to Other M this time, and act like it doesn't exist.

As for Zelda Wii, i think they'll give us a name, simply because they seem to be more willing to trickle information out about this one, given the art-drop at E3.

Well first of all, they need to show something about Kirby Wii if they really want to release that game in 2009 in Japan as their release schedule suggests.

F-Zero and Starfox are probably the biggest franchises that had serious installments in every generation but haven't shown up on the Wii, so of course they are high on the list. I don't expect them anyway though and doubt we will see them during this gen.

The question is rather which teams had time recently to develop something. Giving their output, Intelligent Systems should be about ready to show something new. Most likely would be a Fire Emblem, Paper Mario or Advance Wars game.

Yes Kirby Wii, I want to see what that one is about. It would be great to see some more from New Super Mario Bros Wii and Metroid Other M. My two most anticipated games right now.

Whether we see it this year or not, I really think Kid Icarus is what Retro's working on.
