Wait, it is GDC? I'm confused! There's a GDC, then a GDC in Europe called GamesCom, and then a GC (I didn't mean Leipzig doesn't exist any most literally, I meant it doesn't exist as a proper gaming show). If it's a GDC, why do they have a longer show than they had at E3?

Games Convention in Leipzig is dead. It is GC Online now and is focussing on browser games and stuff.

I know, but I would hardly call it dead with ~45.000 attendees.

Well it was the GDC who decided to move to Cologne, because many exhibitors weren't satisfied with Leipzig. The GDC Europe 09 will start 2 days before the Gamescom. Same pattern as in Leipzig before.

3hours = this will be bigger than their E3 conference. They're bound to announce something huge.

PSP was the center of attention at E3, now PS3 will be the focus at Games Com.

There were 45k people at GC Online. There was no GC this year and won't be next year. This is a new product of Leipzig Messe

I think there will be a great share of casual titles (Singstar, Buzz!, EyePet, Home, and the murder mystery game that the Buzz! creators are working on but I couldn't imagine that taking all 3 hours to talk about...

Ya i do think so sony actually thinks home is a good and its boring as hell so yeah i think they would it only took them what three years of delays to come out with it and they still thought it was good.
