As it is pretty confirmed now that PS3 slim is going to be launching around August 18.. Probably we will see a price cut.. May be $50 , may be $100 or may be none..

But wot are your prediction for rise in PS3 sales starting from Week ending August 29th?

Things are getting more interesting with this PS3 Slim rumor. The German Amazon.com site featuring the listing now has a picture of it, and it looks a lot like rumored PS3 Slim sightings from before.

Again, same caveat applies. Retailer listings of unannounced products should always be considered suspect, no matter how much everyone's talking about them or sending them around.

Assuming there's a $100 price cut too:

The first week boost could well be 100% (doubling sales) or more. Then going going down to a 20-40% boost after some time.

lets say it stayed at 200k a week....how long till it outsells 360
