Objectively speaking, based on variation of games, amount of quality games, hard drive, controller and gamer moral, the SNES was the best console ever made. The PS3 is the most powerful console ever made. To say it was the best would be completely subjective.

its hard to say a console is king unless you have some criteria (e.g. sales) but if your not talking about sales it is very subjective and everyone will have their own opinion
