cool but i was already planning on getting this day one anyways. But im more excited for the campaign now.

Long Live SHIO!

it looks really boring compared to halo 3... they took all of the cool halo 3 features and turned it into a basic shooter

now that i looked at it , it looks cliche actually.

he is telling us the features of the game, not the storyline, how is this personal?

The mission is basically a suicide mission. They are the only hope, but not even their leader knows for sure if some of them should've gone into battle. He also talked about how big the mission will be, which also got me psyched.

Halo will never be a basic shooter. As for the new protagonists, yes, they aren't Master Chief, so they don't have rechargable suits. If you get shot a certain amount of times, you die. Personally, I love the night vision.

I am more psyched for this games campaign than Halo 3. It seems to be far more personal and suicidal.

Fighting the Covenant is suicidal unless you are a Spartan with a fighting chance. At the end of Halo 3 the Human population is only 200million.

Some estimates here. There could of been around 10billion humans on earth originally in the Halo universe and possibly another 100 billion on other colonies and now only 200million remain.

More on topic: I'm more hyped for ODST after viewing the Vidoc.

well , thats a tired scenario, its been used alot, thats why i said it looks cliche.

they do mention Reach alot and one of the videos have a writing on the wall saying "REMEMBER REACH" , makes me wanna play Halo : Reach to know wtf happened xD damn bungie!

It looks like they improved the graphics a decent amount over Halo 3. Sometimes I couldn't tell if I was watching a CGI cut-scene or in-game cut-scene... but that's partially due to me being lazy and watching the SD version.

Its all ingame. Bungie always do realtime cutscenes. You can tell by the lack of any Anti-Aliasing.

Read the first book "The Fall of Reach" It's brilliant and gives far more information then all of the games combined. The Book takes place from the beginning of the Spartan program when Master Chief was 6 (some 35 years before Halo 1) all the way up till the beginning of Halo 1.

I don't care how many times it has to be done. In the VidDoc the job was done properly to prepare gamers and the main protagonists for an extremely dangerous mission that could most likely take their lives.

I rememeber exactly what you're talking about. This game prepares you for Reach. I can't blame you for being more psyched for Reach. Remember that a demo of Reach comes with ODST.
