Is Unchartered 2 confirmed as 60fps?  If not I don't see your point, also you're talking about a engine for Crysis that is not optimised in the slightest for specific hardware, if given a fixed objective of OS, GPU, CPU and memory the performance obtained would increase dramatically too.  Perhaps the thread title deserved these Crysis shots being shown as Crysis is still the king by a long way but as you say it's at a price, Unchartered 2 will be close to the console king title though.

well uncharted 2 = overclocked 7800. a older version 8800 + the cell broadband engine., the cost of the setting by the time was 1800$ for a tri sli nviia and a quad core 2, developers are quite showing some imprecable work, and not many console games comes close to it, i still think uncharted looks better. deffered rending used in it's still impressive, and best i have seen a on console yet.

in uncharted 2 defense, less card it's doing a fine job, and for characters models, have to seen sony bravia ad reproduce using crysis engine?

characters model are horrible, uncharted 2 characters looks better.

I could buy 5 PS3s with the money it'd take to buy a computer that makes Crysis look like that.

Obviously, at its best, Crysis destroys everything else graphics-wise, but LOOK AT THE HARDWARE IT RUNS ON!

The character models in Crysis aren't great either. It's just the environments look phenomenal.

At no point did I say it didn't. Okay, here are some facts.

1) Crysis looks far better than ANYTHING on a console.

2) Crysis looks better than ANYTHING else on PC (pretty much)

3) To get graphical quality like that in the screenshots Zen just posted, you need an extremely powerful computer.

4) This computer will cost many times more than a PS3

5) It is therefore about as fair to compare PS3/360 graphics to PC graphics as it is to compare them to Wii graphics.
