well, if you never played the original, then the fact that contender mode is roughly the same as the original shouldn't be an issue. Either way, there is a lot of content, and you can read both of the VGChartz reviews to get a better understanding of both games.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

in my opinion, punch-out is just shorter, and probably not worth full price, while little kings story will take at least 20 hours if you just wanna get through the main game (get to final boss and beat him) and another 20 hours if you're into all the side-quests and collectables you could look for and the kinda secret areas of the map you could explore (that you don't have too).

i'd get little kings story now (as like noname said) this game is just the type of game unfortunately that stores only order pre-orders, and you will have a really hard time trying to find it, unless you wanna try our e-bay. i'd wait on punch-out!!! till it is cheaper.

 

EDIT: just checked e-bay. it's selling at or a little over full price right now lol.

First, I would strongly suggest waiting to buy MP3 and just get the Metroid Prime Trilogy that is coming out mid-August. It will have MP1, MP2, and MP3 all with 480p, widescreen, and wiimote controls for normal price which is just spectacular!!

Second, the two games are very different so its really what game style you are looking for. I don't own Little King's Story yet but it seems very fun, long, and RTS oriented. I do own Punch-Out and while it is a fun little romp, it is pretty short and straight forward. If I could only get one I would get LKS just because it is more game for the money in my opinion.

 

* didn't realize LKS might be hard to find so I am going to go grab it today or tomorrow  ;)    thanks for the heads up!

i never said i didn't play pikmin 1. i've beaten it numerous times and i love it, i just love pikmin 2 more.
