Forums - Nintendo - Capcom: "How many Nintendo games got online co-op?"

It's not a matter of just Spyborgs. My original post came out of seeing others calling out Capcom for not putting online co-op in this particular game, followed by a pattern of people calling out "3rd parties" (as a general term for all of them) for not putting the feature in their own games. Or even better, that they're being "lazy".

To which I said, "If you want online co-op a lot more often, get an HD console, instead of complaining that 3rd parties are implementing the feature, en masse, on the Wii"

No your original post came out with this line, which I then quoted and mocked: "Is this another situation where it's appropriate to say "If you wanted "feature X or game X", you should have bought "console Y" " ?" This is entirely about Spyborgs, and I have made that completely clear from the begining. Should you want to try and change what is being discussed retroactively I suggest you do it when you cannot be quoted verbatim.

Yea, that's exactly what I said.......in response to the first couple of responses. And I've stood by my point. I haven't changed anything. The original article may have been about Spyborgs, but the responses by the people in this thread have been about 3rd parties in general being "lazy" about putting a specific feature in their games on the Wii. And I was responding to those responses.

So what if I wasn't responding to the main article. Sue me.

Edit: Or did you overlook such responses as "What a pathetic excuse. Why can't they be the dev to do it first? Just another dev's excuse for not doing everything they can with the Wii." or "Another time to say "bad third party's supporting to Wii"; and it's not because of the Wii, is because of the lazy people who develop for the console: Ninty should done all themselves, the third party will never do something new using always a new excuse :(".....

Because I didn't

So you admit to posting completely off-topic in a thread where you have blatantantly trolled at various points? Thats fairly bold of you.

All the same the Wii harware is capable ofonline co-op as evidenced by the games that have done it. As such, any game that would benefit from it should have it, and it would be fair to call devs lazy should they not choose to implement the feature. This is especially true of a company that could contact an internal team to get pointers on easy implementation. This is especially problematic for some people who want the feature in exclusives that cannot be played else where. Did you forget they were responding to an article about a Wii exclusive game? No one else did.
