I am using Killzone2 as a measuring tool because it was the biggest Ps3 game released this year so far.

If Killzone2 could do 750,000 first week.... Shouldn't Uncharted 2 do atleast that same amount?

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, unlike the original Killzone on Ps2, had a fairly big fanbase.

Uncharted 2 is releasing right before holiday season and that will help Uncharted 2 sell more LTD. It wont have that big drop off after the first two weeks like KZ2 did. Killzone2 in contrast was released post-holiday season during a dry period, right after another FPS (Resistance 2) came out.

Uncharted 2 has had a multiplayer beta which was positively received by players and has helped create hype and word of mouth.

Uncharted 2 won Game of Show at E3 and is a frontrunner for many Game of the Year Awards. Don't underestimate it. Those awards help push sales.

Uncharted 2 has a ton of pre-order bonuses! KZ2 had none. You can bet that all those stores with the bonuses made a deal with Sony that they would advertise the game in-store if they got a special pre-order for their store.

Uncharted was bundled more than any PS3 game right? I don't think it will sell as well as the first one.

and I think U2 should be able to outsell it's predecessor within one year

Judging from your avatar you are a Sony hater and will always have a negative attitude towards their exclusives. 

Drakes Fortune was bundled with the $500 160GB Ps3.... Most likely the ppl who bought that model got it because they wanted Uncharted anyway and figured they were getting the extra GB for only $40. Its not like it was just a throw in that ppl were forced to have with every system like Forza2 was.

Uncharted was not bundled that much, it would certainly have sold about 2m without bundling at the very least (I am not really counting the minor bundles in Europe as there you always have options)

Uncharted 2 will sell more than both, in a holiday season and it will come with great reviews

The hype around Killzone 2 was overwhelming.

Well KZ2 was the most hyped PS3 exclusive for years and turned out to be a great game.

U2 is coming out at a better time but sequels dont normally out-perform the prior game in the same generaltion. eg GT, GoW

U2 the internet is going ballistic over it. And the BETA was so freakin Crazy....I can't wait FIRST DAY Hell I might steal the shipment truck

Uncharted 2 is a sequel to a game on the same console so it has more potential to sell well and also boost the sales of the prequel.

I kinda want to play killzone first before killzone 2 to know what has happened in the past but I just don't feel like getting the first one since it isn't really that good.

I'm gonna get both uncharted: drake's fortune and uncharted 2 at the same time.
