US 360 sales are ~18M, US PS3 sales are ~9M
It's just silly to pick the PS3 for Madden.

Yea but even though the xbox is way ahead in system sales in the US it is not way ahead in sales for madden.

Xbox madden 09 sales 2.3

PS3 madden 09 sales 1.6

and ps2 sold 1.2 madden 09 sales

The whole Madden thing (bundle, tournaments, etc.) seems a good move from Sony to raise PS3's popularity in the US. Anyway, it looks it has yet to be oficially confirmed.

It won't pass the 360 or the Wii in the US and it is indeed gonna end up 3rd, but these are good moves, I see plenty of commercials and push for NCAA '10 with the PS3 in the end (I also see a lot of them for the 360), but it's a major improvement compared to other years where I only saw it with the 360 logo.

If they continue doing this with Madden and with GT5 (mentioning it has the Nascar license - but making sure it's not the only part of it so they don't alienate the GT fans) and with their shooters (where the hell were the commercials for SOCOM, Killzone, Resistance), they can get some awareness out there and sell a few PS3s.

Who cares, it's Madden. I hope it doesn't sell on either system so the NFL stops the exclusivity deal with EA.

Unless we only get Xbox 360 comercials for FNR4 in new york....Only the 360 is placed on the tv comercial and billboards...NCAA 10 is only listed for PS3/PSN in TV ads...

So from what I can tell, you are saying that some gaming competition is now using PS3s for Madden. Really, how many people enter these competitions? And is there any real difference between the versions?

Difference won't even be noticeable.

One thing I don't understand: how does "and" become "a"? That is just..that...WHAT?
