These rumors on SO4 are becoming annoying.

S-E/Tri-Ace should just put both games on the Wii and be done with it. It will cost less, sell more and we can all move on...

The way S-E are dancing on which platform the game will be on one could be forgiven for thinking that this was some sort of MEGATON game... when it really isn't.

I didn't mean that post in a negative way against SO but more against what S-E/Tri-Ace are doing. I mean, realistically, on the 360/PS3 do you really see this game being a success either way it goes?

The 360 may be alright if LO is a success but thus far Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata are not exactly doing that well and I can't see the PS3 audience at this stage wanting SO4. Maybe the Japan side of the PS3 would, but the EU/US side is doubtful.

Best place was the Wii, there can really be no denying that.

Well if it's coming to 360 then Microsoft is likely paying them 10 million or whatever it cost to develop the game and you have to look at it from the developer's perspective, do they make it for Wii and hope casuals take to it or do they do the safe thing and take Microsoft's money and ensure that they at the very least break even.

That's kind of pointless in the end. They don't want to break even, they want to make a profit, Microsoft's going to have to pay for development and then some to make up for the 500-700k+ possible copies that could have been sold by using SO3 as an example.
