Download the save and put it in a usb thumb drive, then put that into your PS3 and take the save file from the usb and copy it to the PS3 where your virtual PS1 memory card is

A thumb drive is just a regular old USB flash drive.

I'm not sure about the PS3, but I know for the PS2 I've used something like this: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/PS2-Action-Replay-MAX-EVO-Edition-16MB---USA___EF000071.aspx

to copy save files from my PC to the usb drive and then I used the usb drive on my PS2 (along with the program disc in the package) to copy over the save file. (The link above inludes a small usb drive in the package, but you can buy it without one as well and just use your own usb drive)

It was very helpful for music games, as I could download a save file (that had all the songs unlocked) and then I just cleared the "saved" music scores from the other player and starting saving my own scores :)

I'm not sure if it would work for PS1 games though as I never tried it.

Thanks smbu, i'll keep that in mind.

Never heard of it thats why lulz.
