Man, no one talks about football anymore???

i tried it in my sport talk thread but no one was interested, haha,we used to though didn't we

and tottenham going so well too,its a shame, how is chile doing, everything ok

We had everything to go up but the guy that was president of the football federation here lost his reelection and Bielsa quit (now on Bilbao), so we have a mediocre-decent coach now like Borghi and the team doesnt always play like we did.

Its a shame considering lots of players like Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Isla have grown a lot in their individual forms.

Added to that there was a scandal in which 5 players (Vidal was one of them) were suspended, so its like we had everything to be more succesfull than ever, but we fucked it ourselves lol.

Anyways, I think Euro cup could revive this,...maybe lol

sounds busy, but you need to make brasil 2014,but i guess everyone will be desperate for that over that side of the world, you have an extra place though so should help

someone will probably make a euro 2012 thread, footy chat died in this thread for some reason,i guess the owner getting banned doesn't help a thread

Yeah, the extra spot will help, but when I think about it, besides Bolivia there is no such thing as weak teams even if the big ones are Argentina and Uruguay(since Brazil isnt playing), the rest, and even those two, are on a similar level (Perú has certainly gotten better and Venezuela isnt the weak team it  used to be), so its always hard. Hope we get lucky

Anyway, Im interested in Eurocup, I wanna see if Spain can mantain their level or if Germany or England can beat them. Im kinda hoping Italy does well too, I have some Italian roots(dont know if I said that correctly lol) so I have some kind of sympathy even if I dont really like the way they play.

yes you said that right, italy don't seem to get it right at euros like they do with the world cup but maybe, haha england are a mess but maybe that will work for a change,i bet evryone will put spain and germany in the final but who knows, spain winning 3 tournaments in a row would be mighty impressive and with iniesta and xavi they can do anything

yes i had a look at the 2014 qualify group for south america,it is going to be pretty tight and tense there to make it,good luck i am looking forward to a world cup in brasil,i hope england do not mess up qualifying for brasil 2014

I made a soccer thread a while back. But it was only mildly successful.

this one worked ok,my sport talk thread failed annoyingly i was hoping for a biggy with sport, you have to be specific on vgc i guess,we use to have a soccer prediction game too when i joined,it was fun

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

The good old times when each weekend we would get lots of posts about each league and important matches, I guess this kinda died after south africa 2010

Who is managing inter Milan this year a monkey,Mick McCarthy has got the sack from Wolves and Congrats to Zambia for winning cup of nations,it sounded like it was meant to be after their plane crash of a few years ago from the news report i saw

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

Ive talked with some Inter fans and they seem really pissed, I mean, after winning champions league, italian cup and the league they didnt seem to get any new awesome players, combine that with Mourinho leaving and new coaches and the team fell to where it is now (not in disgrace but far away from what you would expect for a club like Inter)

Watched Barca-Leverkusen, pretty boring in the beggining, but glad Sanchez scored 2 goals

Did anyone watch Arsenal-Milan? seems like it was fun

watched the first half, milan too good for the arsenal, but i did watch porto v city which was a good game, porto play nice football but just couldn't keep it up for 90mins,probably a madrid v barcelona final if they don't meet before, this year

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

Yeah I watched the Milan-Arsenal match. Don't get me wrong Milan played well, but not THAT well to get a 4-0 victory over a top class team. Therefore Arsenal showed a very Very bad performance. (Did they even have one decent shot on the goal ? Seriously can't remember.)

Yeah, Im guessing the 2 top teams are still Barca and Madrid, I dont see other team winning against them unless its something like defending and avoiding goals and score a lucky one in counter attacks
