Well to be fair to Sega Japan is it really Farfetched to believe that most if not all of the 3M+ PS3 owners own a PSP which currently has 12M+ units sold in Japan?

What would be far fetched would be to only go after the audience that bought the first Valkyria.

Yay! Best news all day! Now to figure out how to hook my psp up to the HD TV.

 

Edit: I am still happy about this. I would have preferred a PS3 version but a sequel is still nice.

Really funny though. VC was my first PS3 game (got it before I even owned the console), VC2 has dibs on being my first PSP game.

That is awesome, if you told me the PSP would be getting all this support last year I would have laughed at you, then cried in the corner...

I might actually have to buy the PS3 version now... hmm... maybe not. But I will buy this game for sure, and continue to expand my SRPG collection on PSP.

Bittersweet announcement for me personally I would love a main game on PS3 and a spin-off on the PSP but still a great announcement. Definitely gonna buy this one loved the first one.
BTW I have a feeling that there will be a PS3 version just can't get it out of my head.

Shenmue 3 make it happen SEGA.

I'm disappointed that the sequel won't be developed for the PS3. I'd argue that a console experience is much more epic due to the amount of content, quality of the visuals and audio possibilities that make the storyline really grab the player on HD consoles. Having said that, I'm happy that Sega is still supporting the franchise. I'll likely buy a PSP for this game pending additional info.

Vakyria Chronicles deserves the support. The fans in this thread are enough to prove that. Makes me all fuzzy inside.
