well...i was just going to suggest walking up to a girl and exposing yourself...

The confidence thing is really the first thing you need. If you are certain about yourself, girls feel appreciated because they fit into YOUR life. Humor and intelligence are definatly second and third. (Intelligence actually ranks higher the more intelligent a girl becomes, but mix it up.)

But, you want a girlfriend and not a one time date. I suggest looking at these ten tips as they also adress the future and from my experience are quite accurate

megaman asked me to help, i guess its cos im a girl. but im probably pretty useless cos i've been on like 4 dates in my entire life and only had 1 bf...

but, here we go!

stop looking for a girl. you tend to find what you want when you aren't looking for anything, because when you're looking for it you have expectations. its better to be happy being on your own first. when you're happy with the way things are, its almost like a law of nature that something will come along and shake things up lol. when you're looking for "a girlfriend" you may be overlooking someone's amazing qualities cos you're just looking for the ones that ft your criteria. does that make sense?

a sense of humour is one of the biggest turn-ons ever. a little bit of sarcasm is good (but not too much or you'll just look like an a-hole), and intelligence is always a plus.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T. trust me, this > all. don't let a girl walk all over you, but show some respect. yeah some girls like the "bad boys" cos they want the challenge of being the one to unlock the soft side, but 9 time out of 10 it ends in tears respect yourself too, and stick to your values more than anything. just cos the 2 of you don't agree doesn't mean you have to change your way of thinking.

and you don't need to worry about buying things like perfume/underwear etc. i speak from experience here, but any time i received gifts i sort of felt like i had to repay my ex for them. but maybe that was just me being crap at accepting presents lol anyway, you don't have to worry about that YET.

and, like everyone else is saying... be yourself. the last thing you want is to have to keep up a charade for the entirety of a relationship.

i don't want anyone arguing with me about this. this is just my opinion as a female, i dunno what women want, i barely even know what I want, lol.
