i know alotta people from japan, they told me it gets compared to DQ8 alot and that DQ8 is alot better, i guess too much hype ruins it.

its not fanboys, alotta people i know in japan already own a DS just for this game (they bought it when they announced DQIX) and they said its disapointing.

All of it? especially the laughable art style... it looked.. childish. DQ8 didn't have that.

well its on the DS and DQ8 was on PS2 ,  and graphics doesn't matter to be honest.

its just that the gameplay and the writing are all badly done.
