has the results for the week ending 27 June 2009, with the PS3 at 94.286 worldwide sales.

Now, the results are coming for 04 July 2009, with the PS3 currently at 79.382 (American and Others sales)...considering Japanese sales will be in the 10K/11K range, it´ll be the second week in a row the system has sales below 100K units..the last time that happened, if I´m not mistaken, was in 2007.

That price cut ($50 or $100?) can´t come soon enough.

OT, the PS3 hit 84k some weeks back, (after the adjustments) I think come October price cut or not, we won't have to worry about it slipping below 100k again.

wasn't that leo-j last year?  Last year I think it only went below 120k 5 times.  Maybe there have been adjustments since then i don't know.
