How THE HELL did LBP floped??? Its not even a year old and it already sold over 2 million. That's pretty succesfull for new IP PS3 exclusive game. I doubt the game was expensive to develop, and imagine all the profit DLCs made.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was sarcasm. But, I could be wrong (I usually am).
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
Alone in the Dark is definitely up there on the list of biggest flops. I also think Lair and Prince of Persia were huge flops too.

OT: Not sure if it's the biggest flop, since Lair and Too Human also flopped massively.

No. Many 3rd party games on Wii flopped way worse then it. Deadly Creatures is an example.

this post really deserve double facepalm

how many wii games had budget higher than 7-8mln for development and promotion combined?
outside of nintendo games, Red Steel that is still the most expensive wii game date(whole budget for this project was 12.75mln$ and most of that money gone to promotion and Unreal Engine 2.5) and The Conduit, none.
Deadly Creatures and Tenchu 4 are probably the only really good core wii games that actually flopped yet still their budgets were simillar to Overkill and that
game made profit with just 200k copies sold.
