@Hunter: I'm not denying here that DC has better old school games because I'm a big Quake 3 arena and soul calibur(only the very first) fanboy here... One question though, soul blade IS soul calibur right?

Well I can always help you out with that. The fortunate thing about the internet, is facial and bodily expressions are all gone. Meaning if you know how to use the language properly... you can make anyone at anytime do anything, believing anything, or respond to something if you play it well. It's really quite easy. Just have to know how to play hardball.

Well if Zelda isn't a hardcore game then I guess there aren't many out then eh. Maybe it is a dying breed.

What can I say... Im trully picky when it comes to games? Hell I dont consider games like KZ, Gears, Halo, CoD to be hardcore, so it might be just me. Seeing that I had probably insulted the fanbase of every single system I should be ready to get flamed

Well for once we agree. I don't consider many shooters at all to be hardcore. With a gameplay concept that is so easy with repetitive gameplay moments... how could it be a hardcore game.

Yep that's the hypocrisy. Obviously things like Half Life and Metroid Prime aren't shooters because it isn't casual enough. There is a reason why it should always be included with quotations around hardcore because there is no legitimate basis for it.

Yea I remember when I made a thread claiming Half Life 2 to be the greatest FPS ever. All the COD and Hal fans had to come in and saying but it isn't an FPS. I mean come on there is no boring, repetitive gameplay in linear levels. Argh it gets on my nerves.

Metroid prime 3 is a first person shooter with adventure elements

No one wants to be compared with tha awsomeness that is Metroid Prime. Just look at the The Conduit reviews, they compare it with HD shooters but bringing in Metroid Prime doesn't happen to often.
