Forums - Nintendo - IGN AU Wii Sports Resort review

It seems review has been removed now, seems so many ppl not please with it.

For me, smiling from my mother's face show how great this game is. :)

Edit: oh, ign review back now. :)

Well gamer previews and the 'real' IGN seem pleased with it...

Dreamcast and psp were both epic failures, so why compare them to the greatness that is wii? Both of the things you mentioned got crushed by competition.

I truly recomend you to read this thread. It might make you clearly realise that that's the future of Wii...

If that was a serious post, you just had the biggest fail of VGChartz history.

Now every Nintendo fan will say that IGN is the next Gamespot? From what I can tell the score is justified. Its not a terrible score, and this is far the best that Nintendo can do...

No, but no one considers IGN AU as the real IGN

@Carl: Hehe

Oh and in my earlier post, I might have been a little bit too rude for the psp as it's not as bad as the dreamcast, but it still got crushed by the DS.

Well to bad that the DC even with a 10 million installbase and 2 years out on the market had an arguably better library then the Wii has now ;) Or the fact that the PSP has now a 50 million userbase... I dont see how we could call either a failure ;)

About what I'll expect from most reviewers. I think it's hard for most to rate any mini game collection well haha. Generally if they rate it 6s or 7s that means its good enough haha.

Too bad the DC didn't have a better library now did it. It has good games, but the library of games is way too small. Psp sells almost no software and compared to the ds it is a failure. The only games that I thought were good are quake 3 arena, jet grind, tony hawk 2, soul calibur. Most of which were playable on another console/pc

And please tell me how the DC isn't a failure with a 10 million userbase and just dropping support after 2 year? GC is also a failure and that has more then twice the userbase.

Compared to the DS even the GBA is a failure seeing how the PSP has a shot at selling as much as it did, and yes even software wise, seeing that there are now over 200 million PSP games shiped ;) The PSP stands entirely on its own, and it pretty much stole away the entire GB market, except the hardcore Nintendo fans... and thats including me ( beeing a big GBA fan myself ;)).

The DC died, true, but it has 15 games rated above 90%, whiuloe the WIi has only 8 ;)

The DC  has 50 games rated above 80%

The WIi has 54... with a 5x bigger instalbase... so no my friend, check some objective facts before posting about DC library size/quality... the WIi only beats it at shovelware ammount
