Oh also, if everything on the main page was split up into individual pages, you could possibly end up with more ad revenue from people clicking through the things they'd normally look for on the main page. Just a suggestion.

Look guys, we're obviously dealing with a member here whom is having difficulties with the website. Being snappy and aggressive towards him isn't helpful for VGChartz, the community, or any future development on the website. JohnRKlein has a opinion that is shared with many members of the community, he was willing to come forward with it and everyone snapping at him about it isn't going to solve any problems.

I just set up Firefox and Adblock plus. I never felt the need to look for it until I was bombarded with the ads on this site.

The site is good, the only thing pissing me off is the ads.

i like the site but its becoming more and more frustrating to use between the with of the site and the ads like the VIP access

Hmm Im using Google Chrome and I dont get those site breaking ads.

But I do feel that the white background in the old 'interface' was better. Also sales data seems to be a bit late more frequently.

I feel the moderating is better now though, less trolling nowadays.

I agree with the OP. I love this site, have since I joined in late 2007, but right now is by far the worst I have ever seen it. Brett said he was changing this over to his full-time job and since then we have had sales numbers coming a bit later, which is fine because we are getting this info for free and I really appreciate it.

What does really bother me though is the rapid growth in terms of advertisements. I mean come on now, first we get that annoying "self destruct in 15 seconds" ad that we all need to see. Then we have ads all over threads, which is alright because that is where I expect most of them to be. Although now we have pop-ups coming up from the bottom of the screen which really hurts my experience believe it or not, it is very very annoying and now this VIP ad that pretty much kills the page.

Yeah yeah yeah, I have heard some on this site say "Just refresh". I like to browse this site on my work PC but this site slows that PC down to a crawl and having to refresh a large page is so time consuming and sometimes causes me to just give up and visit Yahoo Sports.

I really wish to see things improve, and while I am not saying I am thinking of leaving because of this, I can admit however that my time per day average on this site has dropped dramatically.

Please improve this guys. This is a wonderful site and I don't want to see it get worse.
