Yet again EU is forgotten, I hate how we get everything last or nothing at all. :(

Worth every penny to play it early. The Japanese and Asian versions are cross compatible online, I don't see why this would be different.
A little disappointed that the regular edition doesn't have the good boxart. Oh well, you guys are in for a treat with this game.
Demon's Souls Official Thread | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka
Aww, man. I'm only feeling buyer's remorse because of that deluxe edition. I want it!
So... what's groundbreaking about the game?

Well, it's just a really fun RPG. I've had so much fun with it and with other VGC players.

I suppose he's referring to the online play.
Whenever you play while being online, players can write messages on the ground, which you and everyone else will see (if you find them). And whenever a player dies, they leave a bloodstain on the ground, which allows other players to see how they died. And when you are dead, you can join other players in their world as a ghost to help them out, and if you are alive, you can still force your way to into another players world to try and kill him, and get a reward for that.
Now give us this in Europe! Or I'll have to import!

It's not just the online play. The nuance of combat is something scarce seen in an RPG (or any game), and it's the skill required in battle combined with some incredible enemies that leads to quite a unique experience.
