I'm very picky about my games, lot of games which people overally like I just dislike either because of the character(s), setting, gameplay or storyline.

do you have to play it?

i mean i just look at the front cover or the back and i can tell if it sucks just like all the wii games and shit games

ff, gh all those are horrible

Several hours. The Conduit is proof of this.

It didn't happen, yet. Sometimes, just taking a look at a title screen or menu transitions and little stuff like that can tell you a lot of thing about how much heart the developers put in their games.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Fight Night Round 4 took me 10 minutes before I threw that piece of crap out the window, gimme Round 3 over it any day.

A few minutes till a few hours. Usually I misjudge a game if I only play it for a few minutes.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

If I am not liking a game for w/e reason; I will wait a week or so and try it again. If I still dislike it after that I give it to family/friends to try. Usually after the first couple hours of play I have chosen. I buy games to enjoy them. Not to waste my time getting to a good part.

Usually 2 hours/levels, if I'm not liking it, I stop. RPGs I give more time, sometimes up to 10 hours

Depends on the game and the depth of the gameplay.

Although I did play Final Fantasy Tactics to the end and that game was utterly awful on many levels.
