The Dreamcast....and you know I'm right.
Former something....
| Showertea said: PS3 slim is just a slimmed down PS3. Doesn't add any new functionality or value. Not going to sell a lot better than the PS3 fat. Natalbox is a 360 with added gimmicky motion controls. It's not going to sell until they start developing good games for it. Third parties aren't going to release anything worthwhile until a year or so after it launches (As the wii has shown, third parties are timid in relations to gimmicky motion controls, and have a hard time developing for new control schemes). Unless Rare develops a game better than Wii Sports, Natal is never going to catch on in the casual arena. |
Dude, it is not hard to make a game like wii sports or even wii fit. Natal development kits are already in the hands of developers...so you can expect some great games upon releases for Natal. Games that required body and feet movement ala boxing, soccer, tennis, dodgeball, tai bo, can't be done properly on a Wiimote, but on Natal, it is very much a possibility. And from the overall great and positive reactions from press and people in general, Natal can be just as big as the Wii.

The Natal bundle is something new while the PS3 is the same thing now just cheaper. Is this a joke thread?

Lol, that PS3 Slim pic looks like a Wii with a notebook cooling pad on it. How do people think this stuff up?
OT: While that would probably never happen, I would say the PS3, because I don't think there will be much demand for Natal (or PSMotion), and the 360 + Natal would have to be an Arcade, or Microsoft would lose tons of money on it.
natal will do for the 360 what the eye toy or what ever its called did for sony
with as big as the wii is , how many really good games are there for it?
maybe its not so easy to make motion based games
well i think natal is weird what happens if someone walks by the camera while ur playing and that milo thing is a pedo's dream whoever want to talk to a virtual 10 year old boy seriously needs to get out more
Well $400 for a ps3 vs. $200 for a 360 and the ps3 is still selling pretty well compared to 360. I really can't see natal pushing anything but a 360 arcade model at $150 would probably sweep the floor with everything. A $300 PS3 added that its a new model, it definitely will increase in sales. People have been waiting for a price cut for the console.

There were probably some people at Sony that thought the Sixaxis would do for the PS3 what the Wii Remote would do for the Wii.
A $200 dollar Wii would win, hell, even the current priced Wii (now that that is out of the way).
I think it would be close. If MS hadnt pulled out some quality game releases for the 360's holiday months at E3 I would have been worried. But honestly the 360 current gigantic library of quality titles coupled with an awesome holiday line-up and possible, natal/price cut will keep sales close.
