Spore? Did you really put Spore there? Do you have numbers how much it has sold ltd?

Yeah, Spore is a million seller already (can't be bothered finding a source, but I remember reading it) but 10 million is not gonna happen

Starcraft 2 might not be a 10 million seller when all is said and done.

@ TWRoO - Just checked sales for them, you're right about DQ, zelda has a chance I think. TP sold about 8 million between Wii and GC versions

It did, actually. It's shipped 10.68 million copies worldwide, and I doubt that more than 680,000 copies of a four and a half year old PS2 game are still on store shelves.

6,280 + 2,970 + 170 + 1,260 = 10,680 = 10.68 milllion. VGC has it undertracked.

GT2 is the only full Gran Turismo which has not sold 10 million.

3,680 + 3,960 + 20 + 1710 = 9,370 = 9.37 million, so we are spot on on that one (mainly because we are using shipped data from PD )

Spore sold 2 millions in it's first few weeks, around same level as the Sims games. It died off a bit, but as long as it keeps selling steady, I'm sure it can reach 10 millions. The expansions will help the sales stay steady.

Shipped doesn't equal sales... GT5 still won't sell 10 million.

Kantor is correct.... the game will have exceeded 10 million, old games like that on VGC take their sales figures form things like shipped numbers, it is just not a priority for ioi to go through the whole database updating all the old games (though GT4 being so high profile it might be an idea to do that one)

It might not have quite reached the full shipment figure, as a small number of games go unsold, or are broken in transit (unlikely) or are sold back to the supplier if they don't sell. GT4 will be as close as you can imagine to the shipment figure though... at maximum there might be 10k/20k still sitting around.

I'm not denying that GT4 hasn't sold 10 million, but it barely made it on a BIG userbase and a popular console. GT5 won't sell 10 million copies unless it's heavily bundled.
