thinking about it, megaman might  be right.

the dsi had the 4th largest launch in the UK, plus the regular DS numbers. I think these numbers are wrong too

It's hard to believe the 360 outsold it after such a big launch though. I'm still hoping its true just for the meltdown that will come.

DSi launched in April in the UK around the weekend of the 4th. Currently the DSi sales according to the front page are 300k. Are we saying that we think this is way to low or that the 360 is way to high?

I was not aware of any major supply constraints during the launch and we certainly have had none recently.

All that aside I still do not get these numbers or why nobody else who has reported them has not jumped on those Wii numbers.

Hmm..to be honest that just makes me thin the figures are wrong (either these ones of the last ones released).

I mean DS Lite has Jan-March to itself before the DSi launched. We know the DSi sold 300k....so I find it very hard to believe that the DS Lite by itself only managed to sell 300k in the UK over 6 months.

 ...and I find it impossible to believe the 360 outsold the DS/DSi combined considering the numbers DS has been doing in the UK in the past.

It's also pretty hard to believe the 360 outsold the Wii. I know it's hardly concrete proof..but the Wii is always well above the 360 on the Amazon UK charts.

 

I'm wondering if they missed a quarter off Nintendo's figures ? either that or these figures are wrong..or the last figures released were wrong).

The big thing that makes me doubt these numbers is that Microsoft would have said something publicly the moment the XBox360 starting beating both the DS and the Wii. 6 months go by, and not a peep from them about this? For a company that's obviously going for the casual market, and has a history of tooting its own horn that seems extremely unlikely.

Not really, remember E3? They said nothing about sales even though it increased by a lot.

how comes it outsold the Wii, anyway good for 360

i hope Wii sales increase in 2009-2010 because of Wii Sports Resort and so on
