That's it?

I expected more.

damn i had a feeling everyone was too optimistic... including me :S

edit: did the ps3 go above 10k?

Wii has achieved its casual peak in Japan.

I hope MH3 moves a lot of hardware.

but man i expected at least 30k, especially since it had a similar bump last week

Now, only big traditional games will push Wii hardware in Japan.

The Japanese have had enough casual games-those don't push hardware anymore; saturated the market.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

The first week boost doesn't matter that much... what matters is to see if the boost is a sustained one.

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

wow, that is surprisingly low and I hopefully won't lose a lot of VG$ over that. I just need America and others to pick up the slack on my weeks prediction.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

I also expected a little more, but hopefully it is a more sustained boost.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
