no, the PC is the most sold system of all times :) but if you count the consoles i think PS2 will stay best selling console, and i DS is already best selling handheld (GameBoy and GameBoy Colour sold TOGETHER 119 million)

This Christmas I believe definitely has a shot. Most probably next year. By the end of this year maybe the DS will be around 4 mill behind Ps2 sales. Just a wild guess.

technically yes... all DSiware games are incompatible with the DS. retail games, no

Not by this Christmas. Probably by next Christmas.

The DS will sell at least 5 million in December alone. Maybe 3 million in November. That's 8 million in 2 months, so if it sells 450k a week for July, August, September, that's around 5.5 million. October + November could be 4 million. So 17.5 million more until the end of the year- if that happens, it will be at 122 million, and still around 12 million behind the PS2.

It "could" if there is some sort of megaton announcement by Nintendo. the Gold and Silver remakes will undoubtedly sell some hardware, and the announcement of spirit tracks will as well. It'll be a stretch, but anything can happen
