I won't say outdated, it will be on par with Ps3 graphics.

The advantage that Microsoft has over Sony this gen is, they can come out with a new console before Sony does, giving Microsoft the lead  advantage over Sony again..

Microsoft is making money on every Xbox 360 and it gives them the flexability to support the console (Natal Xbox 360) for another 5 years. 

If Sony catches up with the Xbox 360 in sales by 2011, be sure the next Xbox will be here sooner then anybody would of thought at the same time supporting the Xbox 360, something Sony can't handle at that moment .

You need to check your video game history. Microsoft had a dispute with NVidia who were making the GPU. It was still costing MS money for every Xbox sold. The dispute meant the immediate EOL of the original Xbox once the 360 was launched. Now they use ATI and have managed to drop the price of the 360 substantially. Funnily enough the PS3 uses NVidia and they are having cost issues.

In my opinion, if Microsoft stops supporting the 360 before Sony pulls ahead, then it would be a hollow victory.

Not if Sony can outsell Microsoft within the same total time on the market it's not.

MS bought the chip designs used in the 360.. they own the rights to manufacture their own xenon/xenos..  so its cheaper than paying ATI/IBM to do the same. Secondly, SONY is bleeding money becoz of the blu ray. Nvidia dont have anything to do with it.



Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

This really does sound like it was based off a previous prediction he made but someone dug it up and made a story about it. I read the source and it doesn't specifically say when he made the prediction, but what I read did sound like something he said a while ago.

But seriously now, you're just one pissed of Xbox 360 fanboy thats got her knickers in a twist over some article that may not shine the most positive light on your precious console. Go play Halo 3 or something, I know from a post that you made you love having two in your hands.
